Alright, since my thesis is finished and printed and only needs to be handed in on Monday I find myself in a situation I didn’t experience for almost 9 months: I have free time! True, I still have to prepare for my final exams, but they are in May and to be honest, I think I can treat myself with a free weekend for a change. Next week, it’s business as usual, but the next two days … I will sleep.
Yes, you read correctly, no need to re-read the last …

I just finished my final thesis! And before I sit down and read it for spelling mistakes and poor grammar choices, I just wanted to share a laugh with you. Obviously, the Mac and iTunes ads below are faked, but …

Anniversaries can be a really beautiful thing. You can celebrate a special occasion with the people dearest to you and you take those memories with you, some of them last for life. But no one ever really talks about when an anniversary suddenly is no reason to celebrate anymore.

Ok, in this entry I wrote how I searched for software to convert some .flac files on the Mac. Well, either I read the description of the app I recommended then not attentively enough … it doesn’t start anymore, that’s the problem I was faced with a couple of days ago. But the app didn’t start at all.So, I went to look for an alternative again. And …

When I read the official review I first thought the album would be complete rubbish, but that just shows that not everyone at Apple does have a taste when it comes to music (though, in general, their music choices are really cool). Anyway, I listened to all the previews and in the end I decided to go for the Deluxe version of the album, because I liked the …

To follow up on the memorial service I attended last Wednesday, 02/13/2008. At 7pm about 2,000 to 3,000 people gathered in front of the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) in Dresden (Germany) to remember the destruction of our city 63 years ago.
I liked that the audience was a mix: of course, there were elder people, some of them old enough to have witnessed the events that were remembered themselves. But there were also many middle aged people and a lot of younger folks. It’s good to know that the …

I was quite flattered when I received some praise for my wallpapers – just in time to put some confidence back into me after the blow I got on Thursday. And since I have had my mind on a special project I just couldn’t resist working on it tonight … and finishing it.Donald, that’s your fault! ;)
Since I am a hopeless romantic I wanted to do something that reflected the relationship between Delenn and John Sheridan. Problem: Some of the screenshots I needed had to come from …
