I know the feeling: so many books, so little budget to buy them with. Mind you given the number of books I already have I still have to find the time to read I really shouldn’t be worrying about that. Right now His Dark Materials is sitting on my “want to read, should probably buy” list…

Actually, B5 IS available for digital download and I was seriously contemplating to buy it. But then, B5 is the series I love the most and I just HAD to have the extras But, like I said, I am currently buying Brotherhood via iTunes, because even in the UK Amazon store it’s only available with Region 1 coding and in Germany it’s not available at all.

I like having the physical discs and stuff, but at the same time I try to decide if I really need the extras or not. If not, then I buy the digital copy as long as it’s cheaper.

I’m not much into that whole buying-digital-copies thing, when I buy a Movie or a TV-Show, I want to hold it in my hands, have it sit in the shelf, be able to lend it to people to get them hooked, etc.

Would you have bought B5 in digital form if it would have been available (I don’t know if it actually is)? And I thought you were all about Extras?

klti, you actually should consider buying a a computer that is running Win or Mac - so you can use iTunes. You can buy all three season of Dr. Who for $25.87 each in the US iTunes Store! Of course, DRM, yadayada, no extras, but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper!

I just got season one of »Brotherhood« there and I like the opportunity. Buying it on DVD is a lot more expensive and this way I can get the new episodes whenever I want (or better: whenever I am in the college library because their WLAN is faster than my LAN).

I’ve bought Season 1 for 70 €. Actually the price is the only reason I don’t buy them as soon as they are released, I love that show.

I’ve come to my senses notebook-wise, right now I need my notebook very rarely, and for that the old, not so shiny one will do. I’ll just start building some savings again, buying a motorcycle totally burned these up.

Tell me about spending too much money, I’ve spent > 100 € on 2 Doctor Who Seasons yesterday, because they are at a really nice price at the moment.
Yes, less than 40 GBP for one Season Doctor Who is cheap, the starting price is usually around 70 GBP
