t-0 days: Almost missed it!

Really, I should sync my clocks more often … while my Mac was still giving my 5 minutes at 26, my radio watch already proclaimed me one year older. Oh well, I just missed it by a couple of seconds ;) While humming “Happy Birthday” to myself and pouring me some champagne, I finally got to rip those Amazon packages open – YAY!

Now five books are waiting to be read and I am in the luxurious situation to decide on which one I want to start first – finally I don’t have to read but can read just for the fun of it. I love (almost) being done with college.

And now I will go and pick a book with closed eyes or maybe … nah, I will just close my eyes, grab a book and start reading. I love this!

Thank you very much! And I am enjoying this day immensely: I got another two books from my mom, some special teas I wanted to have and even some of my favorite chocolate. Best birthday in a long time! :-)

Now, if you’ll excuse me – “Northern Lights” by Philip Pullman is calling me back, it’s incredibly interesting … *wanders off to read*
