Autographs and a very special photo session
Before I write about the highlight of the day - the joint panel of Bruce Boxleitner and Peter Jurasik - there are some more “goings-on” to mention.
First of all getting JCB’s autograph. It was a gut decision, I hadn’t planned it all, but after carefully re-calculating my budget … oh, there’s no point pretending: I loved her character and since she was already in Germany …
At FedCon, there were two different kinds of autograph sessions: there were the “permanent …

Awakening
Waking up on Saturday morning was kind of bizarre. About a nanosecond after I became conscious of my consciousness a flood of impressions passed in front of my eyes and my brain synapses were trying frantically to put them in some meaningful order and assign names and other memories to them. So, no blow by blow account but rather highlight after highlight - come to think of it, that amounts to the same thing. Since this is getting very long already, I will …

FedCon XVII (or FedCon 17) is over, but I am still not quite back home yet. Physically yes, but mentally - NO! This was one of the most amazing weekends I’ve ever had and as much as I try to compile all my experiences in a con-report, this is still too much.
I wouldn’t even know where to begin: the highlights started with me almost running into Bruce Boxleitner in the hotel lobby, finally meeting all those great people in person I got to know through various forums and boards, walking …
