… well, no, not really. Too bad, though. But after enduring a whole week of temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius (that’s about 90 degrees Fahrenheit) outside and inside of the office it looks like a weather change is about to happen. Finally!
While Jarsto was lucky enough to experience that some days earlier and I prematurely assumed the thunderstorms would hit us the next day, it seems that our turn has come at last! I can already hear the thunder and this time it’s not a heat induced hallucination as my colleagues …

Really, I should sync my clocks more often … while my Mac was still giving my 5 minutes at 26, my radio watch already proclaimed me one year older. Oh well, I just missed it by a couple of seconds While humming “Happy Birthday” to myself and pouring me some champagne, I finally got to rip those Amazon packages open - YAY!
Now five books are waiting to be read and I am in the luxurious situation to decide on which one I want to start first - finally I don’t …

Passed my oral communication exam today. Sheesh, that was the most difficult so far. I didn’t get asked a single thing from the texts I had to read but almost only general stuff … which I of course didn’t know. Surprisingly enough, I walked away with a 2.0 (that’s 3.0 for you Americans). Which is awesome, because that’s a lot better than I expected.
In addition, I got my working contract (YAY), had lunch with my colleagues (after being away from work for three works due to learning), and sold a book …
